So last night we had our lovely Christmas meal, all of us scrubbed up and sauntered out smartly dressed for an evening full of intelligent conversation and witty banter. Then once back to Number82.....

As you can probably tell we had fun last night. This is one of the few times you can dress in drag, dance to cheesy songs and semi get away with it.....until someone blogs it the next day and you realise how moronic you must have looked....but god it was fun :D

Christmas cookies

Me and Liam......last Christmas......and this Christmas, both times nomming out on Christmas animal cookies, I think they've become a bit of a tradition....

Student Fancy Dress!

Me and Liam decided to have a bit of a girly night last night. It started with wine, Sex and the City and chocolate and ended in drunken dancing to 90's pop music and dressing up in drama gear.....like this.....

footnote: Liams drama society play is Sunday so we have all the costumes in our living room..... SO we spent the day riffling through them....

And the evening prancing around in them....

Me and Liam haven't really had any good in depth chats in a long time. Were always with everyone else but last night both the boyfriends were occupied with boozing somewhere, and us being poor and kinda lame spent the Friday night dressed up like Edina monsoon, drinking, smoking and having a good old catch up......

.....this quickly lead to horrific dancing around the house......and then Katy joined us after leaving the LRV.....

And we had a little awesome dancing....

and some rad chats.

Then the boyfriend came home, vomited and needed to be helped to bed.....by me.....being only slightly less drunk than he was, it took intent concentration not to drop him....

This morning my head hurt......a lot.....thats all I will say......

Students, oh how it fly's by!

Well we've figured out that were about half way our university experience and I've decided to do some comparisons from how we started to now....

I'm feeling very nostalgic tonight, looking over this blog and scanning through old photos so, I'm not going to focus on the stress and the cold and the poorness, tonight I'm feeling a photo posting session of all the good times I've had with the guys though Uni!

First up, my finest, incomparable peer, Liam...

First year out partying......second year, in and drunk on cheap wine....we still party....were just poorer......

This first piccie is the very first time I met Dannie last year, the second year picture is us licking Sians foot......interestin...

First up here is the first time we went out last year and Liam brought Aaron along.....second picture is me and Aaron this year at 'Geek' night..after getting to know each other and being maties..... quite a bit of change here....

Everyone's the same really.....apart from the fact that we all have shorter haircuts and know each other a little better :)

Lets continue this trend.

Student Stress!

2 weeks left and assignments are due.....

Joels spent 2 weeks planning his essay and two days piling through law books and typing it up...

Liams been bouncing in between drama rehearsals and drama society for hours on end and occasionally pops home for a slice of toast....

Liam "I'm stressed out, I have a show on Sunday and I don't know if its going to work and I don't know if people know there choreography, or there harmonies and, and, and, (DRAMATIC PAUSE) I'm going to be drunk when this show happens...." - Liam.

This is what stress does to a student.

Aarons been dwelling in the fine art studio drawing and things....

And I've been trying not to hyper ventilate whilst panicking about video packages, news stories and law exams....and all this constant panic leads to the inevitable lack of my ability to actually work!

Stressful times at the moment and everyone's feeling it. So when everyone was out I decided to let off some steam.....I literally stood in the middle of the living room and did this......

I think its healthy to have a good scream once in a while, let it all out, have a private little rage....

It did kind of help, I took a big sigh and although, seemingly, hadn't achieved anything, I personally felt better......

still have a load of work to do though so maybe not so helpful in that respect....

But sometimes you have to have a moment to breath and realise that's its not the end of the world, and if your killing yourself with stress.....well where's the fun in that?

Students Mashed together Week....

Christmas Tree....

The tree is up! So.....no its not to impressive, but the only decorations we had were 1 bauble, 2 dove things and multicoloured lights so it looked a bit pathetic for a £20 Tesco tree...but hey its a tree so I'm happy...

I managed to commender some golden tinsel and as we have a lack of angel/star to go on top Aaron made wings and a halo out of tin foil and stuck them on my Sean the sheep teddy......

He's tied to the top branch with a hair-band.....festive

Lunch time!

On Tuesday we all popped to Ember Lounge for food, its still freezing and snowy so everyone wanted warm food....not toast....

Aaron got his usual order of a oodles of beans and eggs.

Thursday Night!

This was the night of cold pizza, destroyed by Dannie and Joel....

I realise most of the highlights of our week has been eating....hmmm

Friday Night!

I haven't been to the student club the LRV in about 2 months,

Friday night was epic, more money would have been handy though...

God I feel like I've hit middle age since second year....

Liam pretty much loves Tyra Banks. The other night he decided to parody the "Fat Ass" rant that she did on her t.v show, which Liam knows the words to off by heart. I snapped him doing this or sheer embarrassment factor.

Student snowwww

Yes I'm going to blog about snow, I know that everyone knows that its snowing, and I know that by the end of the week everyone will probably be moaning about it snowing and praying that it will stop so they can do all the important things, like going to work again, this never made much sense to me....snow is way more fun....
So in conclusion, Yes, I'm blogging about snow....

Personally I still find snow fascinating, when standing watching it I revert into a 4 year old and generally want to run around in excited circles for hours on end.

I took this picture this morning on the way down the road to my lecture.

The 5 minute walk ended with me resembling a cream-puff.

It was very pretty but alas! This is the only snow art I have come across in the past couple of days.....no snowmen, no snow angles, no mini forts?? Come on staffs students!


1st December 2010

Today is officially 1st of December 2010. A very white 1st of December, I think its a good start to the festive season. Yes.....CHRISTMAS, 24 days to go.
I get far to excited about this holiday, its been drilled into me from birth by my over enthusiastic mother that Christmas is literally the best thing in existence.....ever.

So whilst in town yesterday, wrapped up like a fajita and failing at getting any decent interview quotes for my course I decided to cheer myself up and buy a Christmas tree for the house......get one, there awesome.

Wheezing all the way home with a 6ft boxed up tree was soooooo worth it.

Aaron stopped me from putting it up last night, bad luck and all that jazz.

I was tempted to wait till midnight and have a late night decorating session but in true student fashion I fell asleep soon after 11' o clock watching Ferris Bulers day off with my boyfriend. There's always time for a quiet night in and a good old 80's flick.

IN CONCLUSION.....I'm itching to get home, over dramatically round the house together and force them to participate in my festive cheer......yay for tinsel!
